ashince 8 Posted March 1, 2014 My insurance is making me do 8 weekly calls as the last step for approval. They told me that I have to record every item that I put in my mouth. She also said gnat she expects me to lose weight during this. Has anyone else ever been through this?
terrydumont46 1,954 Posted March 1, 2014 my insurance didn't require wt. loss but my doctor did. 5% of my body wt. every doctor, every insurance all have their lists of to do's. cut out carb. that's the easiest way to lose wt. count every calorie. calorie in and calorie out in the form of exercise. it needs to be a negative number. good luck. 1 SugarFreeMe reacted to this
Leepers 1,195 Posted March 1, 2014 Luckily, I did not have to do that. But don't worry. You can do it! Do you have a smart phone? Download MyFitnessPal app. It's an awesome and easy way to keep up with what you're eating. Best wishes! 1 jodie1961 reacted to this
HHHappy 225 Posted March 1, 2014 I know it sounds like a pain to record everything that you put in your mouth but it will be very helpful in the long run. I had to do a 3 month supervised diet...
music1618 879 Posted March 1, 2014 It is actually a blessing. Keeping a record of what you are eating is a great tool after surgery. Many if us use my fitness pal. Once you get in the habit it becomes second nature. Eventually you will be able to predict and have control over your weight loss and gains. Good luck! DevilBlueDress 189 Posted March 7, 2014 What I love about MyFitnessPal and similar apps is that you can scan items and because it is crowdsourced, most popular online recipes and restaurant menu items are in the database. Molly
