Love to see the Chicago support! Thanks for starting this. I have my first consult on Tuesday with my surgeon. I live in Arlington Heights. I am really hoping that I can get the sleeve early this summer. We will see!

I'm slightly reluctant to say this because I haven't been sleeved yet but is anybody in the Chicagoland area interested in an actual face to face support meeting?

I would be open to that as well. It would be nice to have a support group that's there from the beginning of the journey and all going through it at the same time.

All my testing is done. I am waiting on insurance approval now. I am planning for my surgery at little company of Mary in Evergreen Park. What about you?

Mokamami I am sure they will be able to work with your schedule. It would be great to meet up. I know people that have already had the sleeve but to be able to talk and relate with others starting this journey at the same time would be great. We can support each other.
