EarthyGoalie 253 Posted February 28, 2014 It's been about 10 hours since I've been having discomfort in my legs. I'm talking about upper an lower legs. And I don't know how else to explain it but discomfort. It's as if they wanted to cramp up, but also feeling very heavy. :-( I'm having a hard time. I can't even explain it well. Anyone have had anything similar? It might not have anything to do with the surgery since I'm 5 months out, but I thought I'd ask anyway....
Sandy17051 8 Posted February 28, 2014 I get that once in a while since surgery. Mine usually flairs up when I've been sitting for too long. I just get up and try to walk it off, if walking doesn't help I'll stretch out like on the couch or in bed. My doctor said it's because our legs are used to carrying around all the extra weight and now the muscles are relaxing more. Not sure if I want them to relax! 1 EarthyGoalie reacted to this

Margie14 31 Posted February 28, 2014 Make sure your not deficient in the Vitamin and mineral category. I get leg pain just like that when I'm Iron deficient. 1 EarthyGoalie reacted to this
Karen W 8 Posted February 28, 2014 This sounds very much like restless legs. Does it hpen more in the evening/night? Your legs feel heavy/achy, like you want to move them or press on them? If this continues, see your PCP. There are meds for this. Good luck! 1 EarthyGoalie reacted to this
EarthyGoalie 253 Posted February 28, 2014 Thank you all! I am taking into account all your suggestions! It does happen more at night. I used to be anemic but As of my blood tests last month, I'm not anymore. 1 green*eyed*girl reacted to this
