IzzyBelle 94 Posted February 27, 2014 Monday was the first time I drove since my surgery on the 4th of February. I was nervous first to drive and second because i was going to the grocery store by myself. Well as I made a right turn I noticed something odd my stomach was no longer touching the steering wheel! I started to cry of joy, I could not believe this new feeling, and then I realized that where my seat belt buckles was not stabbing me on the side of the thigh, more tears came. I was so happy I wanted a reward and my brain thought of food. I still have this addiction to treat my emotions with food. When I got to the grocery store i parked as far as I could to give me time to prepare for my first alone grocery trip. During the walk I decided I do need a reward and I though flowers would be so lovely. So the first thing i picked up was my plant of choice, then the items i needed. Yes I had temptations and yes i wished I could still eat some things but I did not give in and was very thankful for my sleeve and the start of my new healthier life. Thank you all for your support through my journey and I recommend stopping and getting yourself flowers to Celebrate your many achievements, it feels amazing! -IzzyBelle 1 BigGirlPanties reacted to this

BigGirlPanties 957 Posted February 27, 2014 (edited) I LOVE ROSES too.... I planted some Joseph Dreamcoat roses and a candy Stripe just before winter set in... it was so nice to be able to do that again My reward for losing 100 pounds (I had preset the reward) was a Coach watch... I had wanted one FOREVER, but my wrist was too large to have a real Coach "C" signature band... I got it from the outlet website and it FIT!!! SO HAPPY So everyday when I look down at it, it constantly reminds me of what I have accomplished... good luck to you!
