Hi I had my lap band surgery on 1/16/2014 and am now 6 weeks out and getting my first fill tomorrow. Have had a couple incidents, but the most part am doing really well. I am thankful to all of you that have posted many topics that concerned me or that I am about to face, they have been great. I am alittle concerned about my first fill...have read a few messages on here about your experiences. I have my port in my chest area...so haven't been able to find anyone that has their's there...so will post how that goes tomorrow. Thanks again for all your input its been really helpful.

I was banded on 2/12. My port is in my chest also. I am scheduled for my 1st fill on 3/12.

      The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

        Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
