LumpySpacePrincess 594 Posted February 25, 2014 I'm 3 months post-op and since surgery I have had this weird thing about not being able to find the right temperature for my bedroom at night. I usually like to have a fan going, but lately I am switching between fan and heat every few minutes. It drives me crazy! I just can't seem to get comfortable at any temperature anymore. I am usually pretty OK with sleeping in a cold room, but I seem to be hypersensitive to both cold and heat now. Anyone else have this experience?
loriannfos 25 Posted February 25, 2014 I am much colder than I used to be before surgery. I am 8 weeks s/p vertical sleeve gastrectomy.
annasue 8 Posted February 25, 2014 I am also really cold! I have my jacket on all day and sleep with an electric blanket!

Katcloudshepherd 630 Posted February 25, 2014 Ladies, We've lost some insulation which once kept us much warmer. I know I'm using my little ceramic heater as I type this and I have a shawl wrapped around me. Before the surgery--I had NO problem keeping warm. I also have times when I get too warm. I'm 49 and haven't had a period in a year now so that's not too unexpected. If you're not around my age and experience getting too warm--I can only guess your body is going through such radical changes so quickly--it probably is having a hard time keeping your body temperature at a noraml range? Hope y'all find your comfort level. Kathleen
