2muchfun 8,927 Posted February 24, 2014 Everyone's port could be in a different place so it's hard to say where it is? Any time you have an odd pain you should call your doctor's office and run it by them? So many things it could be such as kidney stones, gall bladder, hernia. Don't rely on a stranger from the internet for healthcare solutions. Only your doctors can know for sure. Hope you feel better. 2 terrydumont46 and ☠carolinagirl☠ reacted to this
terrydumont46 1,954 Posted February 24, 2014 to add to 2 much only your doctor can prescribe medications that might help with the nausea. port pain is something we have, perhaps not all the time but from time to time especially after I lift heavy objects. makes the port stick out a bit more. so call your doctor, make sure the receptionists is getting your message to your doctor. I just had a problem that I put forth to the receptionists to talk to my doctor and nothing was done about it. I had a appointment a few days later and asked about it and told her I called. first I was yelled at for not calling back and insist I wanted to talk to her. she said she will always call me back the same day. and she told me how to make sure I get to her. yea. love my doctor. I am really finding out that with wls and all the questions, concerns and problems we have we need to kick our assertive side into play. good luck to you. 1 2muchfun reacted to this
