I had my Gastric Sleeve surgery back on 10/8/2014 at Backus Hospital with Dr. Mark Tousignant ..whi is now at Manchester Hosp in South Windsor. I started at 243lbs 5'4 . I am now at 162lbs. I had a little regain of like 12 to 13lbs and went to see my surgeon and he helped my start to lose that plus a couple lbs more. I followed him to his new office to remain a patient of his. I love my sleeve and do not regret it. I feel like the person I lost is able to step out again...always felt me inside but felt trapped in my body and dis not want to continue on that path. My weight came off mainly over the first year..and a few more after but I maintained for the most part.
