You have had major surgery so your stomach will be tender for a while so everything that goes in - even Water - can be uncomfortable. But it will pass. I found the first couple of the weeks the hardest, getting over the op and getting used to a new normal. This site is great for looking for reassurance, information and friends who understand exactly where you are. Day 4 for me was buyers' regret day, when I cried on and off all day wondering what I had done to myself.
