Mackadoo19 9 Posted February 23, 2014 Does anybody use it? Is it really unflavored? I would like to add it so some of my favorite things later on but am afraid it will change the taste or consistency. 1 nancy264 reacted to this
PreciousCargo 55 Posted February 23, 2014 I have used it and I do think it changes the flavor tremendously. But then again maybe the flavor varies according to what you mix it with. You may want to try it a couple times yourself to see if you like it or not. Personally, I hated it....
Bufflehead 6,358 Posted February 23, 2014 Unflavored just means they haven't added extra flavor like chocolate or vanilla to it. whey Protein has its own natural taste/flavor, so it is unflavored but not tasteless, if that makes sense. I found it fine to mix in small amounts with things that have their own strong flavor to cover up the taste of the whey, but overall I prefer using flavored Proteins.< /p> 2 1Day1Life4Now and Bor1qua reacted to this
Mackadoo19 9 Posted February 23, 2014 Thank you! That makes perfect sense! I was afraid of that
jujube 42 Posted February 23, 2014 I just added a whole scoop of Isopure unflavored to a can of blended Progresso chicken noodle Soup and could not taste it at all.
LBD 121 Posted February 24, 2014 Just an FYI, some unflavored Protein, like Syntrax medical for example, becomes ineffective & loses it's nutritional value if the food you're mixing it into is too hot. It "denatures" the protein if it's over 140 degrees.
