Wow. Arm pits are actually that--pits!! They are actually concave, they dip inward, not poofed outward. LOL. When applying deodorant this morning, I said well, look at that. It's amazing what near-40 pounds will show you. Plus I see my clavicles (collar bones), etc. BUT...

What I've called "back titties": Mine have gotten a lot smaller; they're more like collapsed sacks now. And they've never been literally on my back. They are more like 'saddle bags' that overhang the side of bras; like a smaller boob behind the main attraction. [Do you know what I'm talking about?] I hate these areas.

Anyone with advice about these saddle bags? Did they flatten out for anyone after losing 50-100 pounds? [i'm stalled at just under 40 pounds, but, just thinking ahead.] Thanks.

I have the back boobs, too and am just under 40 lbs down since surgery as well. I really hope I lose the back and side boobs. I was actually told, when I was being fitted for a bra at Lane Bryant, that the side/back boobs were the reason for my large bra size (band not cup).

Lyn, speaking of Lane Bryant: I got a coupon-thingy from them the other day and i thought I won't need these any time soon! You won't either. Yeahh.

Pretty sure these are what you're talking about? Mine have gone down a lot! I'm down 53lbs and 9 weeks out. The one on the right was taken last week!

Wow, you've dropped a lot of inches. Good for you!

My 'saddle bags' are higher. They are just above the upper edge of the sides of my bra. I hope they go away, or at least flatten out.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
