I went to my first support group meeting last week, and it was really good to meet with other people in the same boat. Maybe I'll see you at the next one! All of the doctors and nurses I've worked with seem to LOVE him, so I'm happy with my choice. I personally am losing very slow, but I'm not too bother by that because I have two years of losing... I'm hoping the slow loss helps with having less skin sag. 1 Lazy_Lizzy reacted to this

laynie427 28 Posted June 29, 2014 @@msjoy83 I am going through NJ Bariatric as well. I am 5'8 and 379 lbs. I am about halfway through the 6 month waiting period required by my insurance UHC. At first I was annoyed by the wait, but now I see i need that time to get ready mentally for this change! Laynie
Octavia62314 20 Posted June 29, 2014 I agree the waiting period is much needed. Mine was 3 months and it definitely helped me prepare better and get as much information as I could. The liquid diet helps prepare you also. I was grateful for the wait and the diet. 1 laynie427 reacted to this

He told me they will both be there, just one will be lead surgeon. Laynie
