I don't think this is a lot of weigth. the doc has me to wait 6 weeks for my last fill and then wait three more months to see if i need another fill. but i told him that i did'nt want to wait that long. was it this slow for anyone else.

OK, you've lost 33 pounds in about 4 months, right? Which an average of just over 2 pounds a week if I'vee done the math correctly. Which is on the high end of what I was told to expect.

All of which is my way of saying that your restriction and diet might be just fine, it's your expectations that need work?:welldoneclap: I'm not trying to be mean or anything, you really do sound like you are doing well.

Now, if you are struggling a lot, and feeling hungry most of the time, you might indeed need an adjustment, but I don't think your rate of lose calls for one.

33 lbs in 3 months is really good. You should be proud of yourself. My doctor only waits 2 weeks in between fills. If you are losing 1-2 lbs a week which you are you are losing what is typical. Hang in there.

thanks that makes me feel mush better and it helps that it comes from someone that has been trough the same thing. but i here people say when you find your sweet spot you will know it. i think i need a fill because i have not lost any weight in two months but have not gained any.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
