What is the common length of stay in the hospital after VSG ?

My doc told me to plan on 2 and a half days. So day of surgery, plus two overnights, then discharged the third morning.

I was in on a Monday morning at 5am for surgery and discharged that Thursday late afternoon. My program has a three day stay usually for the sleeve, I stayed an extra day to consume more liquids.< /p>
