I would have to say Yes and wear them proudly!! Before surgery I was wearing 2 ankle supportive braces and now I am not and pain free. Woot woot, and yes I am shopping for shoes too! It is all good ;)

Of course when you get the new heels, you will have to buy a new purse and outfit to match!! Sounds like a goal shopping trip to me!!

I am sorry to confess this...I never wear heels. I'm 5'10" and never wanted to be 6'. And they hurt. But they do look good up in the air (blush)

hahaha i have shoes that are just for the bedroom too!

There you are! Haven't seen you post in a while. I love looking at your pics. Your eyebrows are sick! Thanks for the feedback but 6 inches... I could never pull that off.... maybe 4. I said if I can make my goal I will buy myself a pair of Louboutins.

loubotins hurt your feet They are the most uncomfortable shoes I've ever worn not worth the 1200 bucks I really like Jessica Simpsons shoes they are amazingly comfortable I can walk in them all day..

I can say that I went from a 7.5 to an 8.5 when I gained the weight.

I would guess that the feet will shrink along with you for sure

My thighs are not flattering now so I can only imagine what they will look like after I loose a significant amount of weight. :(

P.S. Thigh lift surgery is excruciatingly painful. Not sure I could ever go through with that. A Tummy Tuck and a boob lift... thats another story.

my inner thighs are a train wreck I have to wear spanks when I wear dressed and skirts if not the chub rub is ridiculous/ uncomfortable.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
