Nausea

When does the post-op nausea subside? I'm sure everyone is different but I still struggle with some terrible nausea. I'm off pain meds now (day 5 post) but I'm still feeling sick often enough that its preventing me from getting enough Protein in.

Did you get a Rx for an anti-emetic? Like Reglan or Zofran? If not call your surgeon in the am and let them know....they can call you in a Rx. Feel better.

I was given an anti-nausea pill. Maybe your Dr. Can call in a prescription for you. I also had my labs done (may be too soon for you) at week 3, and my B1 & B12 were really low. It may or may not be what's causing your nausea, but it may be worth a try. It helped me. The anti-nausea pills didn't. The first 3 weeks were the roughest for me. I hope you feel better soon. Just make sure you're drinking Water. Even if that is the only thing you can get down for now. .
