Jayson 15 Posted February 18, 2014 When I weigh myself in the morning no clothes no fluids it differs by almost 3 lbs mid day because of fluids and food. So which weight do I go by. Morning or during the day?
bearman99 228 Posted February 18, 2014 (edited) The one you can be consistent with. Generally, this will be when you first awaken, buck naked, after the restroom, before eating or drinking. This will be your best comparison of weight from yesterday to today. That said, your best measure of health is body fat percentage. Body weight and its obsession will lead to bad health decisions. Your weight is your weight. Water weighs 4.1lb per half gallon. Edited February 18, 2014 by bearman99 2 MIJourney and Goalmet reacted to this
Richard Foor 655 Posted February 18, 2014 They are both correct your body weight just fluctuates normally. You should use whichever one you want and just stick with the same one all the time.

Morning or during the day? The morning for me. I know that I don't have a difference due to clothes, Water or food. For me it is the most consistent. 1 MouseOnTheMile reacted to this
MouseOnTheMile 186 Posted February 18, 2014 (edited) I too am a morning weigher, after BM, before eating or drinking, getting dressed or showering (it's weird how much weight a shower can add to you, like Water and a sponge ) Edited February 18, 2014 by MouseOnTheMile
