Do I start all over maybe a day a Clear Liquids and a cpl days of full? I just dont know what to do. I am in full depression mood too. Please.. any ideas any advice any words of wisdom.

Thank you for not spreading negativity

I was sleeved on January 14 the and I also found/find it a constant struggle with the head hunger. There are some days that I will go for three or four walks around the block just to make sure I stop eating or don't Overeater. I read the posts a lot here to help me as well. I don't have the answer but I wanted to let you know you're far from alone.

Maybe go back to drinking couple shakes a day, one pureed meal and a snack. Watch carb and fat intake. I advanced my diet too fast b/c I was doing well then members on here scared me and said it was way too soon so I have scaled back on soft diet and drinking just Protein Shakes... I had some yogurt as my snack. Make sure to get in your Water too.

I would suggest a therapist. They can help work through this with you, and get to the root. I see one twice a month and have found it to be very helpful on my journey. You can Google one who specializes in obesity.

Good luck.

I really appreciate u taking the time. I stooped coming here after I posted needing help and all I got was negativity from ppl. Judgemental ppl should not post on here. I was so fragile and I took what these ppl said to heart. Then I realized that they dont know me.. they dont know my situation.

Anyways. Walking sounds great. I havent been able to take my normal "head" meds for about 2 weeks now so thats really messin with me too. The powder get stuck and I throw up.

I guess I will try again tomorrow. Thats a new day right

are you putting powder in the blender? I blend it really good.. like at least a minute. I can't stand any grittiness. I am sorry I thought you were only a few weeks out. What do you typically eat on a daily basis? Maybe start food journaling and see your nutritionist. Has to be a reason for it and I am sure you will figure it out. What up with your 'head meds'? Most of those cannot be stopped abruptly. I hope your prescriber is aware, I would hope for you to have any bad withdrawal symptoms. I work in psych so if you want to inbox me feel free. I am sorry ppl have been negative... sometimes people lack tact... I sometimes have that problem too. You have to learn to ignore and when you do learn please share your secret with me ;)

Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
