ccaramel27 56 Posted February 17, 2014 OK so I had surgery Thursday February 13 and I haven't lost any weight yet. I've actually gained 2lbs. Since surgery day. Is this normal?
gohelpyourself 377 Posted February 17, 2014 Swelling and edema and fluids from operation. You probably won't see scale move for at least a week... I didn't. I was sleeved Feb 4 and so was another girl I knew. Neither one of us lost weight first week and a half. It will come off don't you worry. How are you tolerating your diet? You on full liquids now? purplegerber 29 Posted February 17, 2014 I had mine on the 12th. I am refusing to weigh myself until my 2week post op. My hands are so swollen I don't think weighing myself would do me any good. Just keep your chin up so to speak . From everything I've been reading what we are going through is perfectly normal at this point. 2 gohelpyourself and ccaramel27 reacted to this

Ok I thought I was doing something wrong. Yes I'm on Clear Liquids and have been tolerating them just fine thank goodness. I haven't had an issue keeping my liquids or Vitamins down. I'm going to stop weighing myself because I'm getting obsessive.

Yea I've been walking and sticking to my full liquids. I def feel swollen still and TMI constipated. I was discharged Saturday morning and immediately weighed myself and was up 2 lbs from thurs. Today it weighed myself and was down the 2 lbs hopefully it continues to go down. The only good thing is that my blood sugar has been going down.

Outside?around the house? I've had to do it all inside since we've had over 2 ft of snow since I was sleeved. I've been walking around the house-stairs around the living areas. Yesterday was the first day driving. I was walking around the whole time at my daughters soccer tournament. Little steps add up. I've got a phone app that will automatically track how much I walk as long as it's in my pocket too.
