Where is your port?

I'm so glad I found this forum. I have wondered about this as well. My surgeon (also from Albany, GA, but doing my surgery through his Macon office) also places the port in the chest. One of the nurses in his office (whom he banded) showed me hers and also let me feel it. I can honestly say it wasn't noticeable. I guess it's just the thought of it being in your chest....

so far so good! I don't have any complaints yet about the port being in my chest. My bra doesn't even touch it or bother It.

My port is affixed right below my chest upper abdomen area. It is a great place and they have never had trouble finding my port. When I was receiving adjustments I went every month for the first two and a half years. Never was there a problem. I love my ports position. Bra is not a problem either.
