Ariella 73 Posted February 16, 2014 Ok, so sometimes I am a little app stupid. Is there a way to configure my fitness pal to track Protein only? Or is everyone using it at face value and checking the nutritional content???
Teachamy 1,042 Posted February 16, 2014 I use it for everything. It's important to keep track of calories, fat, carbs, and Protein. It all comes into play in weight loss. You're early in the game, but this stuff becomes more important later on.
SeriJ 16 Posted February 17, 2014 I wish it tracked grams instead of percentages. The percentages are not useful to me
XXShelXX 346 Posted February 17, 2014 I wish it tracked grams instead of percentages. The percentages are not useful to me it does track grams. I saw this a few weeks ago. Just go to your diary... Then click on the little pie chart icon. Then u see a big pie chart with the percents.. Look up in the right corner of the page and you will see another little pie chart icon, right next to that is about four little horizontal lines. Click on that and u can see all your grams of everything. It's verrrrry helpful! 2 SeriJ and Danni-doinit4me reacted to this
crowsnestmama 240 Posted February 17, 2014 I wish it tracked grams instead of percentages. The percentages are not useful to meIt does. When you go to the nutrition tab it shows the pie graph of %, but there is also a spot that has like a set of long lines followed by a dash ___- (right under the arrow pointing to the right) this will give you the grams break down. 1 SeriJ reacted to this

Steph W-O 75 Posted February 17, 2014 You can also go into GOALS and customize the number of calories, fat, etc you are aiming for each day. While the Protein shows a percentage, as you change it, it shows you the equivalent number of grams, so you can set it that way. 1 BabySheldon reacted to this
