So I have started all my tests that I need to do prior to gastric sleeve surgery. Ive started seeing bariatric nutritionist last week and going to see psych for evaluation...anyone can tell me how this eval goes and what kind of questions do they ask u? Also going to see my PCP this week for medical clearance.

QUESTIONS ARE VERY BASIC JUST BE HONEST I TOLD THEM I WAS OVERWEIGH BECASUE I LIKE TO EAT NO HIDDEN REASON NO CHILD ABUSE OR ANY OF THAT STUFF I AM 1 MONTH POST OP AND DOING GOOD I HAVE LOST 40LBS TO DATE ITS QUITE A CHALLENGE BUT WORTH IT IF YOU HAVE ANY OTHER QUESTIONS PLEASE DON'T HESITATE TO ASK GOOD LUCK IN YOUR JOURNEY

Fairly easy, they attempt to ween out if you have an eating disorder, have suicidal tendencies, accept responsibility for your current state (weight/health), if you have a history of maintaining your doctor appts etc.

I also had to do a 65 true/false questionnaire about what I listed above. They ask repetitive questions attempting to see if your answering truthfully.

It's was fairly easy, just be honest and consistent with your responses. Be mindful of your eye contact and body language too. Good luck!
