ElyQuint 446 Posted February 16, 2014 I can paint my toe nails without panting; I can shovel snow without fear of a heart attack; I can sit in a booth without discomfort; I don't need to eat before I eat publicly; I care more about me than I do french fries; I can shave my legs in like five minutes instead of fifteen, I don't run into things all the time; I don't feel like I'm taking up more than my share of space anymore; I am already (6 months) so damn grateful! Fellow post-ops, please share your gratitudes! 1 Molly3 reacted to this
Molly3 495 Posted February 16, 2014 (edited) I'm so grateful as well & painting my own toes has never felt or looked so good! The main thing that I'm most grateful for is being able to keep up with my amazing athletic husband & very energetic little girl... So happy & very grateful for my sleeve! Great post! Aileen-March 2014 Sleeved 45 Posted February 16, 2014 What a great post. I have not had surgery yet. But, I have experienced everything that you mentioned. And am looking forward to being thankful as well.. 3 more weeks
able2cope 193 Posted February 16, 2014 I am grateful for being able to almost run up the stairs, and no panting at all. For being able to wear nicer clothes and smaller sizes mean being able to shop in more of the mainstream stores. 1 ElyQuint reacted to this
JanetPRN 496 Posted February 16, 2014 I am grateful for so many things: - Crossing my legs easily - Unsubscribing Lane Bryant emails - Skinny jeans that are baggy - Shoveling snow without sweating 1 ElyQuint reacted to this
erp 2,016 Posted February 16, 2014 I am grateful to no longer get winded going up a flight of stairs, to have space on each side of the seat on an airplane, to be physically fit, to no longer have people give me an extra wide berth when walking down an aisle, to only have one chin, to weigh less than my DH, to be a size 6.
