leatha_g 4 Posted September 19, 2004 I've never had it after banding, so I can't tell you about that, but I would like you to know that I'll be thinking of you and I sure hope everything goes well and the results are favorable. I think in every banded journey some of this may come. We carry in us a mighty delicate and sophisticated apparatus. There are so many things that come into play and even then, we can get through it and still have all of our parts intact. How fortunate for us! Good luck tomorrow and please do let us know how it goes!
donali 57 Posted September 19, 2004 Hi Chris - I did not have my fill removed. I do not recall having any dietary requirements before or after the procedure. I think I didn't eat that day just to make sure there was no junk in my stomach when they did it, but I don't recall being told to not eat. Good luck! Chris S. - L.I. 0 Posted September 21, 2004 Everything is fine...there is no erosion. I do have a bit of gastritis and he did a biopsy and mentioned I should take Zantac 75 or Pepcid complete. I saw Dr. Geiss, my surgeon, and he said if I wanted to I could make another appointment for a bit of a fill but I said I would wait because I did start to lose weight again. Thanks for all your good wishes.
