App to track eating time

Recommended Posts

I saw someone had mentioned on another thread I can't find that they have an app that tracks their eating time. Anyone know what app that might be?

There is one called Eat Slower that times your bites.

The system of eating and drinking we have to follow is enough of a nuisance already, I can't imagine adding some obnoxious app to the mix....I think you would tire quickly from such menial interactions. But to each their own...

Well I'm on day three post op. I'm sure further in it would be annoying but I'm getting nauseas pretty easily from 2oz of Protein shake. Thought it might be helpful these first few weeks.

Try carrying around a Water bottle with whatever liquid you're drinking and get used to sipping on it all day. As in take it everywhere. Drink all the time. You will quickly get used to drinking and the timing in between. Learn now, cause it might become more difficult to get in enough liquids when you start foods. Timing will change to 30 min before and 30 min after. Plus the foods will fill you more and cause you less desire to drink.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
