aNewLife14 101 Posted February 12, 2014 Just wondering, I've been at a stall for over 3 weeks now and wondering if I could take a LASIK Water pill just to get this stall moving. Drinking water and eating correctly, just not loosing any weight. I am seven weeks out and getting really frustrated.
DirtyHarriett 94 Posted February 12, 2014 Talk to your doc. Stalls are frustrating however diuretics are for swelling in tissue and Water retention. The stall will break! 1 aNewLife14 reacted to this
Schmincke 118 Posted February 13, 2014 All a diuretic will do is dump Water. It will not dump fat. So that's no help to you - yes a reduction on the scale, but one that will bounce back as soon as you stop the diuretic. The point is to lose fat. Sorry to bear bad news 2 aNewLife14 and DestinClair1983 reacted to this

MichiganChic 3,262 Posted February 13, 2014 Don't take a Water pill unless your doc tells you to, and monitors you. Some people might still need them, but as you are eating so little and losing, your blood pressure could drop too low with a diuretic. Besides, a diuretic won't make you lose weight, only water, and that comes back when you stop the water pill. Just ride it out. Trust me, it all evens out in the end. 1 aNewLife14 reacted to this
ASKSARAH - Sleeve 256 Posted February 18, 2014 Its not a stall unless you have no loss in lbs or inches in over 30 days. Did you measure yourself? Take photos? Why don't you try that before hurting your body further. The truth is we are so used to hurting ourselves to see weight loss that's our first go to. Treat your body better and let it do its thing.
