delove32 91 Posted March 23, 2014 I saw a YouTube video where someone drained the broth from chicken noodle Soup. The broth is a bit thicker and much richer than regular broth. She said it was filled and tasted like fried chicken. Lol.. I hope you find something that works. My date is in 3 days! I have to do 2 day clear liquid before date.. I'm gonna try that liquid fried chicken!! 3 kathleen1986, Brooke77 and heartmyself reacted to this

kathleen1986 3 Posted March 23, 2014 That's how I felt, and still do almost a week post op. I flipped out on my husband for eating in front of me. You just have to keep your eye on the prize and remember it's only temporary, and for you own benefit. I tried different things like juicing, and broth. 2 Brooke77 and heartmyself reacted to this
Christy929 18 Posted March 24, 2014 My date is next Friday, March 28th!!! I'm dying in the liquid diet #starving grrr anything anyone is doing to help not feel like you'd eat your own arm off? I feel the same way. The best thing I've found is Popsicles, Greek yogurt & oatmeal to help with the craving to chew & to fell full. My surgeon said that Soup broths are good too so I've done the fat free Tomato Soups or broth drained soups. Keep it going, you've got this.

Christy929 18 Posted March 25, 2014 I'm currently in my room at the hospital and was banded a few hours ago! I can't believe it's done! I'm sore & experiencing the shoulder gas pain but I'm getting up soon to walk around & start letting things break up (hopefully). Woohoo 1 Brooke77 reacted to this
kimmykimIN66 14 Posted March 25, 2014 Hello Hope your recovery is as uneventful as mine and all goes well. Just stick to the plan one day at a time. 1/2 lb a day...seems like a little but I will take it in the long haul. Keep your eye on the final results and this time next year just imagine the after pictures we will be posting Good luck Kim
