gohelpyourself 377 Posted February 12, 2014 your surgery was on the same day as mine! I had my follow up today and P.A. said I could jump to soft foods (stage 3). I wasn't really eating full liquids (I was essentially eating pureed diet b/c I would take Soup with chunks and put it through the blender). I came home scrambled an egg and ate 2 of my sons french toast sticks... went down so good! But I was full. Full not sick but I knew I had enough food. 1 BabySheldon reacted to this

Those saved me because I basically went through the pureed stage with liquids. I couldn't stand anything pureed. I know what you mean about the broths. I have cans of them in my cabinet. I have no craving to use them at all. I think the liquid stage has tainted births for me haha. 1 gohelpyourself reacted to this

TTC2U 8 Posted February 12, 2014 I had my surgery on the 2/7/14 & Im on all liquid diet until the 19th! I have been doing smoothies, unjury & stage one baby applesauce and other fruits! Oh Italian ice I was done 2.6.14. I am also on full liquids till 19th. But I have been doing muscle milk slightly frozen, Power Crunch bars (OMG so yummy), Soups, malt o meal, and I ordered foods from a bariatric website that have high protien foods. I am wondering if there is any one way to do this. I feel I can tolerate just about everything iv tried. I even had a few protien chips made from lentils and garbanzo Beans n some other bean with my Soup. I don't eat much. But I have been losing bout pound a day then today NOTHING. ugh right wrong good bad?!?!?

I got bold and decided to try a few things. Cottage cheese, hummus, flaked salmon. I went too fast so had to back off. I think I will try eggs tomorrow. I am having trouble getting all my Protein in and fluids.
Lulah 18 Posted February 16, 2014 I was also sleeved on 2/3/14 and just started full liquids, but man am I tired of Soups and broths!! I'm gonna try some sugar free pudding and cottage cheese tommorow.....so exciting lol! Also. I have tried so many protiens shakes and they all taste terrible, but I'm not sure what I can add to them to improve the taste? So frustrating and a waste of money!
