Fill co-pay

Recommended Posts

Just curious what other insurance company's charge for fills. I was SHOCKED???? to find out that my fills will cost me $150... Seems a bit high for a 5 second "in-office procedure"..

Insurance companies don't charge anything, they reimburse or pay on your behalf. Do you mean your co-pay is $150? I've seen where many docs charge up to $250 for a fill. I can understand if it's done under fluoroscopy but if it's just in the office it should be closer to $50. How much is your doctor charging?

It doesn't hurt to ask your doctor if he accepts assignment?

I was told yesterday that they consider it an in office procedure so it will cost me $150 for a fill/adjustment.. Seems like a robbery to me!

It is what it is. You can look elsewhere for cheaper fills and aftercare.

My deductable just went up to 70 dollars. So, guess that's what I'll be paying. It was only 30 dollars last year
