Whats your full liquid diet look like?

Recommended Posts

I'm wanting some variety and wondered what others are eating on their full liquid diets. So glad to be off Clear Liquids

I have Campbell cream Soups with light sour cream. I also go to places like subway and Panera bread and get their Tomato soups and broccoli soups

I just took a SF chocolate Jello pudding and mixed it with 1 TB of P2B. OMG! I do Protein shakes in the morning and evening. I also do Soups for lunch, but hard to find ones I like that are low fat, low carb. Oh and greek yogurt. Love the Dannon light and fit.

I can have anything that could be sipped through a straw, no lumps but no straw. I love pea Soup, clam chowder, can have Dannon light and fit yogurt mixed with nonsweetened almond milk, but my stomach doesn't like yogurt yet. sugar free pudding mixed with almond milk. I'm not advancing fast my tummy is still tender.

For some reason I don't want yogurt, pudding or Jello, I guess it's the texture

I'm feeling much better knowing it happens. I was just worried my surgery didn't work and the weight I did lose was from the clear liquids.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
