mistykay32 4 Posted February 11, 2014 I had gastric bypass may 10, 2010 and lost 154 lbs-best decision I ever made for myself...but I've gained 30 of it back. I've only gained 10 but I don't want to go back down that road again, so l'll tell you what I've bee told and it's working. Start journaling again, so you can see what you're eating. I wont apologize for my life/food choices cuz I work VERY hard at it. I get mad at myself, and tell myself to lighten up and have a cookie, or a cracker, or whatever..but I cant, I just cant. But doesn't mean it wont happen, it just hasn't yet. So I will take notes and follow your progress an see how it works for you. Cuz I never say never. Debbie S 5 Posted February 13, 2014 Misty, were/are you following your bypass guidelines? I sitil don't drink for a half hour before or after my meals etc. I did stop journaling my food but stated again after gaining some stress eating pounds ands it's working. I already lost a couple of the 10 I had put back on.I continually tell myself I don't want to waste all I gained and all the money I spent. You can do it! Get a nutritionist to help you if you need to keep you on track. Tell yourself that you will not let this food take over your life! You CAN do it! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
