Equipment failure at the gym ;)

Recommended Posts

Ok, I get it! I need a new running bra! My first full 3K run last week after my Tummy Tuck and recuperation, I knew I was physically ready to do it start to finish (on the treadmill in the gym) so I psyched my self up. No stopping unless I broke my leg! I didn't plan on my boobs going down and the bra going up at the 2 mile mark! Ever try to re-tuck those flabby boobies while running on a treadmill, in a crowded gym. And not attract any attention or go shooting off the back! I thought everyone here could use the laugh. I am happy to say I have a new running bra which compresses those babies into pancakes, and new running tights...... Size SMALL! Hope you got a smile!

Funny! However. Getting new bras feels great. They do stretch and I have to remind myself to take the time and energy to go try on ten or so to get a good fit. Waocal are nice but yikes! Expensive. Puts the girls up a bit higher... Better

i was wearing a sports bra the other day when i noticed the bottom of my bra was sitting on top of my chest. i could see the material when i looked down my top. i just turned to my hubby and adjusted the bra and the first bathroom i came to i took the sucker off. it's cold here and we are layered so no one would notice anyways. lol

I run the treadmill every morning, and enjoy it when the ladies wearing size "Small" spandex run on either side of me.....(actually motivates me)

Never had the pleasure witnessing the show you put on though.....

It wasn' t until I started the Couch 2 5K Program a couple months ago that I realized the value of a good sports bra. I have a couple that I bought at costco but I find it pulls the boobs together & makes it look like you have one big boob, rather than 2 puppies. Have to take the time to go in search of a better sports bra.

Funny story. You definitely made me smile. :)

So glad to know I am not alone in the malfunction dept. I was at work and bent over. Hello someone came popping out of the top. Time to get new ones (boobs that is)

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
