I was debating trying potato Soup but thought it may be too thick. broth and sour cream sounds interesting. Did you use chicken broth?

If I get my 60g Protein in today then I will give the potato soup a try!

I actually strained the broth from chicken noodle Soup, so I guess that would be chicken. I added some seasoning, but it wasn't the most appetizing thing I have ever had! I just tried the thinned cream mushroom. Definitely got full off of that, felt like I was going to explode after only 1/4 can!

For Protein, I just try to drink skim milk, and I drink boosts as well. An 8 oz bottle gives you 15g of Protein, plus a lot of other nutrients.

And let me know how you do with the potato soup! I'm kind of basing my rebellion on you since you're a couple days ahead. :P

I ate applesauce this morning with my cup of tea. I ate thinned pea Soup last nite. I will try thinned mashed potatoes with a little cheddar tonight. I will try the sour cream idea. How does the Boost taste? Some of those Protein Drinks out there taste like poop!

I must be a rebel but I take potato soup, thin it out with Water and add some cheese to the top. Pop it in the microwave and Im good to go. My doc allows creamed Soups on stage 1. So far so good. I stepped on the scale this morning and I have lost 11 pounds. Surgery was 2/3/14!

That's awesome! I added some low fat sour cream to broth last night, it went down fine and I felt full for the first time in awhile. Ate it a bit too fast though. Congrats on your loss so far! I was sleeved 2/5/14, and as of this morning I'm down 6 pounds from when I came home. Have you tried anything more than creamed soups yet?

I actually don't mind the taste of the boost! I get the chocolate kind. They offer two. One with the green cap offers a lot more Protein than the red cap, which is what I have right now. It tastes almost exactly like the chocolate milk they offer at high school lunches. The vanilla though is something you should stay away from :P

I agree that the Protein Shakes are not great. I've been making myself drink 2 of the Isopure dymatize chocolate shakes with skim milk and a couple drops of almond extract twice a day and that gives me 66g of Protein In a small amount...one scoop of the chocolate Protein Powder, 8 oz skim milk and almond extract. I mix it in the bullet so it is creamy. I'm going to get some banana extract today to try.

Any good recipes for egg drop Soup? That sounds delicious! Of course, it would taste even better with a couple of egg rolls!

Premier Protien shakes are also very good. 30g of protien low carbs only 160 calories and the chocolate is just like chocolate milk 2%. I was lucky with my liquids starting day 4 I was allowed anything that could fit through a straw so I thinned yogurt out with milk and ate that. It was filling. if you are looking for protien the greek plain yogurt tastes a lot like sour cream maybe you could try that in your Soups instead. I use it on taco recipes instead of sour cream it honestly tastes great and punches up the protien.
