Tooth ache!

Have the worst tooth ache ever! Out of nowhere and I have been taking crushed Tylenol and it does nothing for the pain. Can't get in to the dentist till next Friday. Grrrrr!! Anyone have any advice?! This is worse then post op recovery or natural childbirth!

Three suggestions:

Did your dentist not offer any advice for surviving until next Friday?

Ask the pharmacist if any of the ointments to soothe gums might help at all.

Call your surgeon and ask if you could take some of your post surgery pain killers (I never took any of mine after the surgery).

If you are in that much pain, call again and explain that to your dentist's office...you could have an abcess . If your dentist won't see you for a week, I would look for someone else. When I had pain and ended up needing root canal, my dentist took me in the same day.
