ljgh73 21 Posted March 9, 2014 Surgery Monday. I live in a small community so I'm in Anchorage where I am having surgery staying in a hotel. I wish I could be in my own bed with the comforts of my own home. I slept a little bit tonight with my 9 year old by my side. I'm nervous. I'm all she has which is a big part of why I am doing this whole thing but getting scared because should something happen I'm all she has. I'm sure things will be just fine but I have had complications with surgeries in the past and that thought lingers in the back of my mind. I would love to spring forward one month instead of one hour tonight just to get to the "rest of my life" part. (Also to miss tomorrow's bowel prep day. ) 1 amc2014 reacted to this

I'm sure you'll do great. I am also a single mommy, having surgery on Wednesday. I have the same worries. Just think of how much more we'll get to do with out munchkins when we are at a healthier weight. Keep us posted!

And since I'm on Monday too, I'll let ya know how mine went. We got this LOL 1 Srreeder reacted to this
Srreeder 78 Posted March 9, 2014 Just read through and caught up on every body and how they are doing post op! Glad to see mostly good news! I start my preop diet in two days and still don't have insurance approval! We are in Europe on vacation so this is a sacrifice that will test me, but it's worth it! If we don't get approval next week I will freak out!
