I have friends who consume 100 grams of Protein daily and have had horrible Hair loss, while I barley consume the minimum of 40-50g and take 10,000mcg of Biotin and haven't lost any. I do know that African American woman have it the roughest just because they are generally very rough on their hair to begin with. So I would not mess with it if you can help it. Get it pulled up and leave it alone. Start taking biotin. It will pass. The worst is usually from month 3-6. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Can somebody please tell me what I need to do to stop this madness and how long does this last? you need at least 60 grams of Protein each day.
