gohelpyourself 377 Posted February 6, 2014 I have pudding, cream Soups... what else? Not that hungry but maybe if something seemed appealing enough I may have the urge to eat. Right now I am just sipping on my Protein Shakes. Thanks. I suppose the next phase is pureed? Not sure about that either.
Recycled 2,182 Posted February 6, 2014 I have a Blendtec blender and during full liquids I blended everything into full liquids. Supposed to use a strainer to get out the chunks, but with this Atomic blender there was nothing left behind in the strainer.
gohelpyourself 377 Posted February 6, 2014 what did you blend?
7 Bites_Jen 479 Posted February 6, 2014 We always called it Yuck-in-a-cup, LOL. Here's our episode on that very subject - let me know if it helps! 1 Schmincke reacted to this
vdub_tx 92 Posted February 6, 2014 My aftercare binder says I can have cream of wheat (very thin), sugar free applesauce, and thinned greek yogurt during full liquids. I'm still 4 weeks out but I'm stocking up on non-perishables so that I won't worry about it after surgery.
JerseyGirl68 1,172 Posted February 6, 2014 All good suggestions. I always opted for items that gave me the most nutritional value. Greek yogurt was and still is a staple. Though I didnt' have to worry too much about my Protein intake at that point. 2 shakes gave me all I needed for the day. Purees can be just about anything. I blended chicken salad, meatballs, egg salad. I used an emersion blender, and I could only get in a couple of spoonfuls at first. Check out theworldaccordingtoeggface.com and emilybites.com . Both sites have a bunch of recipes for all stages of your diet. Good luck!
