Before surgery I found the worst picture of loose skin I could find, showed it to my husband and asked him if he would still fancy me if I looked like that. He said 'Yes, because it's you I fancy.' What a guy!

I'm 175+ lbs down, flappy as anything and he can't get enough of me.

That's the sweetest thing ever! I'm so happy for you guys! Now if everyone else's man or woman felt like that then it wouldn't be that much pressure. For my case I don't want to be saggy for myself although I do care what my boyfriend thinks of me I dont want to be saggy for me. I'm having surgery for me.

I've been researching and found some new alternatives to surgery: radio frequency treatments that stimulate collagen. The brand names are Viora and Thermage. Plastic surgeons and dermatologists typically offer services in most larger cities. The prices really vary, so shop around. I found a deal on Living Social for 3 lower face treatments or 2 tummy treatments for $225. Some doctors charge $400-$500 per treatment, though. The manufacturer websites recommend 4-8 treatments for best results, and maintenance treatments twice a year afterwards.

The pictures online are pretty impressive in regards to loose skin. My saggy jowls look significantly better after just one treatment, and I have two more to go. May try the tummy treatment after that.

Do not let that be a deterrent to losing weight, as everyone has stated, it depends on a lot of factors other than elastin of your skin...I allowed that very thought to invade my mind for the 1st few months and I am not one who wants to have surgery to correct the skin(if it turns out to be bad) lol. Massaging, exercise, Water and wrapping are all a part of my fitness plan before and after surgery. Best wishes

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
