Teachamy 1,042 Posted February 5, 2014 Water is tough after surgery, don't know why. I could get it in much easier if I heated it a bit. Have a bunch of crystal light/mio flavors on hand--you never know what will appeal to you post-op. The same thing with Protein Shakes. Also, after surgery, take the time to rest. And remember, as miserable as you may be the first few days, it gets better every single day. I am 7 weeks out today, and feel pretty darn good! You can do it! robinson 2 Posted February 5, 2014 My date is March 3rd!! Very excited and nervous all at the same time. I am also trying to be proactive as to what I will want after the surgery, but as knowledgable as I think I have become, I have no clue where to start. It gave me a really good idea of what to take with me and what to drink in the beginning. Yay! Only 3 weeks away!
