haloep 0 Posted March 26, 2007 Good Evening all, I am having my lapband surgery tomorrow. I am a little scared, I think of the general anesthesia(SP), but I am excited as well. This is my last resort, so I hope it works. I am ready in my mind, and I think that is one of the most important steps. Any last minute advice will be greatly appreciated. Have a good evening. Mvpo8961 1 Posted March 26, 2007 Make sure the car you go home in has good shocks. Take a pillow to brace against your tummy. That way the bumps aren't quite so uncomfortable:eek: . Congratulations. Myra

Mrs Husker 3 Posted March 27, 2007 Congrats to both of you. I was banded one week ago today and am doing great. My best advice is to walk, walk, walk. And a heating pad and gas-x strips are a must.
juliegeraci 7 Posted March 27, 2007 Angel, you will probably have 6 weeks recovery prior to your first fill. Just take it easy and take care of yourself.
