FitnFabfor2014 358 Posted February 5, 2014 For the first week after I was really weak and didn't have much energy. I was told to get up and walk around as much as possible, but if I felt dizzy to take it easy. I will be honest the first two weeks I really took it easy. I didn't go back to work until 3 weeks after surgery. I am starting to get some energy back, but it's been slow coming. For me personally there was nothing wrong with taking it easy, but I just made sure I got up and moved around and walked throughout the day, so I didn't get any blood clots. It definitely helped with recovery. Are you having. Hard time getting up or walking? Congrats on your surgery. Hopefully you are recovering well.
