ashlee.819 26 Posted February 4, 2014 Last week, I made a post about my frustration with my weight loss (or lack thereof) and today I am still in the same boat. I only lost .4 pounds this week which is frustrating BUT I took my measurements today and I have lost 4 inches overall in the last 2 weeks. I attribute this to the hot yoga classes that I have been doing. It's a lot less frustrating seeing minimal weight loss on the scale when I know that I am losing fat but gaining muscle. lisacaron 5,075 Posted February 4, 2014 That was one big mistake I made from the beginning I never took my measurements and wish I had. I know that I am losing inches even when the scale doesn't move as my clothes start to fall off
SandyM 1,956 Posted February 4, 2014 That was one big mistake I made from the beginning I never took my measurements and wish I had. I know that I am losing inches even when the scale doesn't move as my clothes start to fall off Same regret here. Plus, I put aside a garment to compare with and now have mistakenly discarded it. I rarely took pictures in the past, so I really have very little to look back on.
ADJL 685 Posted February 5, 2014 Inches for me are more frustrating...the go so slowly for me! I jumped over to see your blog. I keep one too! Love following banders!
Bandista 7,466 Posted February 5, 2014 Thanks for the reminder to take measurements -- I have been doing that monthly since just before surgery and was due for a new set if numbers at the end of January. I love the pants size as a way to Celebrate success. Started at 18 long and now in 14 long same brand Lee jeans. Hate the scale for standing still or going up then down then up, etc., but loving my pants. Important to remember it's about health and comfort and energy levels, etc., not just the bloody scale. Lady VS 1,147 Posted February 6, 2014 (edited) Well a little something is better than nothing. Just be patient, keep following your doctor's orders and you will lose. This journey doesn't happen overnight. Good luck. Edited February 6, 2014 by Lady VS
