onsummit 117 Posted June 1, 2014 Enjoy using my Fitbit Flex. Needs to be charged once a week even though I use silent alarms 3x a day. Just wearing it is very motivating to me. I enjoy being in competition with myself to walk just a little bit more each week. 1 jmac004 reacted to this
DirtyHarriett 94 Posted June 2, 2014 I love my fitbit flex and find myself walking around the yard or house trying to meet my step goal before bed! Great motivator for sure. It is nice to have friends as it motivates me even a bit more!
Boykie 4 Posted June 2, 2014 Thanks for info , ill have to rethink my choices on those kinda devices. I love my fitbit flex. Take it off about every 6 days to charge. Synchs with MyFitnessPal.com which I use for tracking calories. There is a design issue with the charging cradle - initially thought it was not holding charge then realized it was never charging properly. Jam some paper at the end to force contacts to touch 1 rivergirl14 reacted to this
Krystal0528 118 Posted June 2, 2014 Have any of u tried the up24? I'm debating between the fitbit flex an up24, so any input would be great

Had an Omron for 3 or 4 years then went to FitBit flex about 3 months ago. The Flex does not sense vertical movement ( steps etc ) but I don't care - would rather not have to remember to clip it on everyday
kimk1999 450 Posted June 3, 2014 not I. Had an Omron for 3 or 4 years then went to FitBit flex about 3 months ago. The Flex does not sense vertical movement ( steps etc ) but I don't care - would rather not have to remember to clip it on everyday That's part of why I didn't turn in my force when it was recalled as it does sense the vertical movement. I put a bandaid over the contacts and have not had any problems. Lol

Dah..lol I love the website too. Great feed back from my Fitbit friends. We taunt and cheer each other on daily.
sengelken 51 Posted June 4, 2014 I have a flex, two actually. Can't get either to hold a charge. I do not use any of the battery draining features like silent alarm. Would not buy again.[/quote I had one that wouldn't charge and fitbit replaced it free of charge! They just sent me a new one!
Pinkice 2 Posted June 4, 2014 Does anyone also have the bathroom scales ,I think called Aria that hooks up with their fitbit and if so do you like them and do they work well?
RNBSN786 206 Posted June 4, 2014 I have heard fitbit is coming out with the new force. So I am going to wait it out and then purchase it. I do love the idea of having to wear a Bracelet vs a clip on. Would love the bracelet to tell me the time also this way I don't have to worry about wearing a watch in addition to a step tracker.

delta_girl 931 Posted June 5, 2014 I wore mine and tracked data for a year. What I found for myself was that it did not accurately record sleep at all. I also found that it was not usually accurate for many activities. I wore it on my non-dominant hand, which is not moving as much as my right. It didn't show intense activity when I was actually doing it. It also didn't show my activity if I walked long distances holding something in my non-dominant hand which caused it to be stationary. I took it off last month and haven't put it back on again. This is not to say that it wasn't worth wearing at all. It was motivating and I got a lot out of what I learned, but after a year, I would like to see another level of tech. development.
rivergirl14 30 Posted June 5, 2014 Love the aria scale. Wirelessly links to fitbit app to track your weight. How cool. I did not know about this scale. Want! I think I might have to get a fit bit too. All this is helpful to know.
