I'm a bit nervous and scared but also very excited for this life changing day to finally arrive!! Weightogo123 34 Posted February 3, 2014 For those of you wondering what the pre opt diet is for me its not as hard as I thought. I'm allowed to have 2 Protein shakes and one meal with very lean Protein and unlimited vegetables all day. I found that making dinner your one meal has worked best for me. I had to drive to my pre op testing in a huge snow storm so if I can do that, I'm ready for my surgery!! Best of Luck Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Weightogo123 34 Posted February 5, 2014 Jhood2005 welcome, At your first initial appointment with your surgeon you can expect to go over all the options of weight loss surgery and then they mite have you choose which option you would like to get or which one will work best for you and your body. In my case I had to fill out lost of paper work and about my medical history etc. They will weigh you and calculate your BMI to make sure you qualify for surgery, send you off to meet with the nutritionist and schedule your pre opt testing..... and before you know it you will schedule your date Hope this was helpful Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
