gigim 8 Posted February 2, 2014 Hello, got my lapband 9-2008, only 1 slip in 2011, doctor suggested an unfill totally for 4 months.. At that time I felt must better. But, I gained almost 20 pounds back... In 2012 he started to refill me very slowly... Over time I lose the weight and a little more.. I feel great now. But, I noticed this week when I was looking at my stomach, and felt the port area(incision) I could not feel the port!!!! It's like it has moved up about a inch or so...I know with age(55) gravity takes place..lol... No problems with night cough or anything, I still have restriction... Has anyone with the lapband long term had this issue????
mrsto 2,925 Posted February 2, 2014 I noticed that my port moved up from its original spot, about 7 months after surgery. My doctor said it's absolutely fine, which I was relieved to hear. My port feels like it's an inch higher, because of the fat loss. 2 Bandista and catfish87 reacted to this
