Talk to them, they are very friendly and quite helpful. :-)

And I love their Lab - he comes out to see me every time I go in. :-)

The vanilla is really good added to black iced coffee!

I never thought of using it in Iced coffee....sounds good and I just may try it. I have been using them since surgery as well.

This sounds like a great idea! Summer's coming (I hope!) and I might want to have an voice coffee. I can justify it if I'm also getting Protein. How much would you put in, say, a small 8oz coffee? A scoop? Less?

I put my Protein powder in my coffee almost every morning. I add a scoop to a mug full of coffee. Start the day off with 30 grams of Protein. I do cool it a bit first though. I've heard hot liquids can ruin the protein although when I've researched this, all I could really find were forums. Not sure if a regular cup of coffee is actually hot enough to ruin it or not. The protein I have never clumps either like I've heard.

I'm going to try this in my coffee this morning at work. :-)

I'd start with half a scoop. You don't want to add so much that it gets clumpy. You can make frozen coffee too...cold black coffee, ice, and a scoop of protein powder all in the blender. Delicious, especially in the summer!

I like it also. I found it on Walmart.com and it comes in a 3 or 5 container bundle. Great price! Called the company and asked for coupons so they sent me three $5.00 off coupons. I thought that was terrific. I like the Cookies & cream but can only find that flavor on line. So far I have found 5 different flavors. Unlike a lot of powders out there Body Fortress does have 30 grams of Protein and I haven't been able to find higher.

How'd you get those $5 off coupons? Can you get them more than once?

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
