Carlotta1 401 Posted January 31, 2014 Yes I do get hiccups.. I stop eating when I do. Cause if I take a few more bites then I feel uncomfortable. 3 Blondiee, planetheather and graylola reacted to this

BigGirlPanties 957 Posted January 31, 2014 I had that in the beginning, however it does go away (usually). I would hiccup when I ate too fast or too much... it would be a sign-for me- that I may dump what I just ate...
Christian Zaccone 243 Posted February 1, 2014 Sounds like your going to fast .. Chris
disterdis 22 Posted February 1, 2014 (edited) No matter how little I eat I get hiccups every time I eat. And also doesn't matter how fast I eat either if I drink same thing. Sometimes I get them for no reason and I rarely had them before. Can be annoying at work and co-workers always comment about it. I am 14 weeks post op. shirlyn 8 Posted February 2, 2014 My surgeon told me that during surgery, your diaphragm can be disturbed and may cause you pain and or hiccups later on due to it. I don't have hiccups but I have had sharp pain on my right side and when I inquired well, that was his answer
Bludtkr 21 Posted February 13, 2014 I get the hiccups when I stand up, usually only 2 or 3 but they hurt like hell. Figured it's from everything being moved around and disturbed. I'm hoping once everything heals they'll go away completely.
