vanceheather5 69 Posted January 30, 2014 Hi I am in day 4 of my pre op diet. I am scheduled feb 10th for my gastric sleeve. I am wondering if there are some filling recipes anyone has found for the pre op. I'm starving! 4 shazbah68, Dignity, She's_Sleeved and 1 other reacted to this
gohelpyourself 377 Posted January 31, 2014 we are only allowed to eat 1/2 cup of non-starchy veggies a day along with the 4 bariatric shakes. Your surgeon is allowing you to eat? I'm on day 7 of the diet.
Pachary 8 Posted January 31, 2014 All I got was shakes for two weeks. They did allow four "meal tickets", but I only used one and it was disappointing.
vanceheather5 69 Posted January 31, 2014 I'm allowed a small lean meat and green veggies once a day. I can have fat free yogurts, sugar free jellos, Protein Shakes, .. Things like that. But it's def not filling and I'm hungry. Blah 2 CupofJojo and ChangingMeForMe reacted to this

vanceheather5 69 Posted January 31, 2014 Well I guess I shouldn't be complaining then. Just so very diff from what I was doing. My stomach is saying its hungry but my brain is telling it it can't have anything and I want to cry. Lol I know it'll be easier when my stomach is 4 oz big... I won't have to deal with hunger pains. 2 BeagleLover and SliminDownThick reacted to this
gohelpyourself 377 Posted January 31, 2014 I know... my stomach has been grumbling for the last hour. I already ate my veggies early today. I am feeling too fatigued to even get up and get food if I could.
vanceheather5 69 Posted January 31, 2014 I keep trying to just look at one day at a time instead of me having 10 days left. : ( I have to keep my mind busy or I'm miserable. I was home sick today so it hasn't been easy. If I could just sleep for the next 10 days that'd be great lol. I'm from tx. Using a surgeon out of Dallas.
