I use caster oil on my scars..It is the only thing that can absorb into the scar and treat it from the inside out as well as the outside..It makes the scars lighter and softer....

No photo's though....goodness!

Where did you find out about the Castro oil?

From my Osteopath, who works on scars to soften them so that there will be less strain on your skin and organs and muscles if they are pliable....One part is connected to the other part in our bodies and it can have an effect on our system if not looked after..... :)

Hi, I have attached two pictures. I am currently 3 weeks post op. The round scar isn't healing as fast as the other four. I started using coco butter for scars and stretch marks. It has worked really well so far (5 days). This one round scar is going to take a bit longer. The longer scar (below my belly button) was itchy and red for a bit, but now it's healing and fading. The other scars are also fading.

Castor oil is not fish oil . It's thick so I usually add organic coconut oil to it. I keep a bottle in my bathroom to smooth on after a shower or bath. It's so great for the skin and hair.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
