Jean McMillan 2,973 Posted January 28, 2014 I'm about 18 months post-op. Yesterday I felt lousy and very nauseated, like I was coming down with some kind of stomach bug. My years as a bandster have made me very nervous about vomiting (which can cause band slips). Other than the general nastiness of vomiting, is it bad for my sleeve? mistysj 1,940 Posted January 28, 2014 Only until the staple line is healed. Then the sleeve is not any more delicate than a normal stomach would be.

RJ'S/beginning 5,358 Posted January 28, 2014 Everyone vomits now and then right...But I am pretty sure you are safe as long as it does not happen continually....At first we all have that problem. But as we go on like where you are...It happens because of not feeling well......Prolonged vomiting..I would check into.....not if I am sick or have the flu that is for sure.... If you still feel that way..Take a Gravol and it should help the feeling of nausea....K
